The Wi-Fi button on my laptop disappeared, that is, when I opened it, it no longer suggested "Wi-Fi" but only the flight mode button.
I then reset the computer - that is, did a system restore - and it worked again. However, that did not last long; shortly afterwards there were problems again and I had to reset again.
I don't want to repeat this every two weeks
What should I do to solve this sustainably?
In the settings you then have to activate or deactivate Wi-Fi, I also had it once
That was no longer possible…
Do you mean bottom right? The flight mode button is the WLan button, if it is on flight mode, it is not Wi-Fi, but it is the same symbol, just click on it and switch off flight mode. Or did I misunderstand something?
Yes you did, normally the WLAn button is right next to it, and it was gone.
So with me you can see either a plane or the Wi-Fi symbol, never both at the same time. But I'm probably somewhere else right now
Please tell me the manufacturer and model name of your laptop, I would like to have a look at the manufacturer's website.
Lenovo Legion Y520
For the Lenovo Legion Y520-15IKBM model
you can use the keyboard shortcut
Fn + F7: Activate / deactivate the airplane mode
to press.
So it could work.
