I was thinking maybe to get a 4k monitor. Now the question arises whether my laptop will still be able to create games and other general things with the graphics or whether it won't work with 4k. My laptop has an rtx 2060 with 16 gb ram and an i7 9750h. It also has a 1920x1080 display and runs extremely smoothly and well. Will it be the same with a 4k monitor?
Yes, it definitely works. A 2060 will take it easy.
Just pay attention to the right port like Fullsize HDMI or Displayport.
