Looking for a cheap notebook for Minecraft?

I'm desperately looking for a reasonably decent notebook that runs minecraft without my eyes starting to bleed.

Could spend around 500 euro

The notebook is intended as an entry-level computer for my girlfriend, but everything I find either only has 128-256GB SSD storage (SSD is not important, I prefer a large HDD) together with Pentium cpus with HD graphics without an operating system or if I have something good find it goes in the 4-digit area.

I'm aware that a desktop PC has more performance for the money, but for reasons of mobility I'm explicitly looking for a notebook

Unfortunately, only 10+ years old junk is sold on ebay classified ads for which 3-digit amounts are required.

For the price you only get devices with a small SSD or bad CPU, so you have to find a compromise.

You could also get a device with e.g. 256GB SSD, if it's only about Minecraft that's not so little, and you can build in a larger one if necessary.

With something like that, you'd have 90 euro left over for a hard drive and a Windows license. The Ryzen 5 3500 is easily enough for Minecraft.

The other compromise would be a worse CPU, but 512GB SSD and Windows 10 pre-installed, that would be something like this:

I looked at a review of the notebook and I have to say compared to the scrap I have found so far, the part is quite good.

I think I'll buy this one and upgrade a hard drive as soon as the warranty has expired. If that's still necessary.

In any case, many thanks for your help.

There are many offers, especially the very good Ryzen 3500U which I use for gaming myself. HOWEVER, the offers are never actually available.

Anyone can do it.

Minecraft is not demanding.

It would be different with Crysis.

My son plays Minecraft on his tablet and phone.

So it doesn't get any more boring.

Personally, I would go up to 700/800 euro and buy a notebook with a small dedicated Nvidia graphics card (Mx series or GTX 16 series), if lower settings and 60-30 fps are enough for you (without mods and shaders), they will do it too the Vega graphics cards from AMD (4000 series) or the Xe graphics of the 11th Intel generation.

The Java version of minecraft has become extremely CPU heavy over time. With a Pentium z. B is nothing
