Insert page number word?
I had to do a housework for the school. Altogether I have 12 pages. Now I want to insert the page numbers.
My problem is I do not have the pages in the right order as I need them because I made the mess. Now if I put the page numbers 2 on the second page in the foot margin and then on the third page one three the laptop also changes the two to a three.
How do I change this?

You can't manually write page numbers in the footer, but there's the page number field function. Headers and footers are just there to ensure that information that appears on every page of the document is written there. These then appear automatically on each page of the document, unless otherwise specified.
To get page numbers in the footer, I would do this:
Insert page numbers
Double click on the footer of the document to open it for editing.
Position your cursor with the left, center, or right-aligned text orientation where the page number should appear in the footer.
On the Insert tab, click on Quick Blocks → Field…
In the window that opens, look for the field name in the left column of the field names and select them. Alternatively, you can just press P once on the keyboard, then it will be dialed. Make sure that the Keep formatting at update checkbox is checked, but that should be the case.
Then click on OK. The page number will then be inserted in Arabic numeric format 1, 2, 3 … It is important that you in the middle column in the field properties under format simply nothing. If you should select a page number format, change the setting to Use standard numbering again.
