I know that some people wish to remember their dreams, but for a long time it has been the case with me that I dream far too much and far too intensely from the day before. During the day I can hardly concentrate, e.g. When I looking at my laptop remembering a dream.
I feel the same way with a lot of situations and objects. Meanwhile, I'm just tired and exhausted because I'm so exhausted from these spiral of thoughts.
What can I do to dream less is the question.
You can't influence how much or how little you dream.
But what you can do: you can take the time right after you wake up in the morning to write down your dreams.
Once they are written down, you will probably have less pressure to think about them for hours.
So consciously take a period of time in which you deal with your dreams and only allow yourself to think about your dreams during this period.
Your problem is not the dreams, but the memories. You can try to control your dreams, then at least the memory is not bad. Unfortunately, I'm not a dream expert either.
