Why doesn't my Word have a full taskbar?

I recently got a new laptop. I'm a high school graduate and need footnotes for my vwa but when I wanted to insert them, I noticed that some of the categories in the upper taskbar were missing. Does anyone know why this is and how I can fix it?

File → Options → Customize ribbon and then tick the one you want to add

This is not the system tray. That would be downstairs and looks like this or something like that:

What you are looking for are the ribbon in Word.
You can show and hide these in the program settings:

I have Word 2019 so it may differ a little from your point of view.

Is that possibly the mobile version of Office and not the full version?

Thanks for your answers, but for me there's no box with "Customize ribbon" in the Word options

How do I know?

Does the version open in the browser? Is your "laptop" possibly a Chromebook?
