Notebook Bluetooth can't be activated

So I have the following problem.

I haven't used my notebook for a while and now I need it again. Now yesterday I reinstalled Win10 and now I want to use a Bluetooth keyboard.

On Win7 I was able to connect to a Bluetooth device without any problems and the button (i.e. The Bluetooth symbol) was also displayed. But not in Win10 anymore. Neither in the notification area nor in the device manager. I chose "Show hidden devices" myself, no Bluetooth there.

I also restarted the Bluetooth service and set the start type to Automatic, but the situation did not change. Then I looked in the BIOS and found the entry "Blue Tooth Power" under "Advance Chipset Control". "Disabled" is greyed out there.

So now I think that this might be the solution to my problem, right? But how can I reactivate it?

Notebook data:

Processor: Intel Core i7-4700 MQ 2.4GHz

Mainboard: Notebook W350STQ / W370ST

Chipset: Intel Haswell

RAM: 8GB

BIOS: American Magatrends Vers. 4.6.5

I really don't know what else to do, please help me!

Can actually only be due to the driver.

Windows update done?

Are any devices in the device manager still with one? Mistake?

sa

Thanks for your answer!

So there are 4 devices in the device manager? Mistake.

-PCI device

-SM bus controller

-Unknown device

-Unknown device

Other devices with "?" there's not any. How and, above all, which driver should I install?

Fe

What brand and model is the laptop?

sa

It's a Gamestar Notebook 17. A sticker on the back reads "Notebook Computer. Model W370ST

Look here:

https://www.clevo.com.tw/clevo_down.asp?lang=en

Scroll to Model:

W35xST / W37xSt Series

Driver: All

Then go

There in the table is a BT driver.

Click on Europe in the table that should be the driver.

Of course, I'm not responsible for viruses or other damage as long as I do not do the installation myself ^^

Fe

Once you've downloaded the file, install it through the device manager. Install on the device driver via properties and then search for or select file

sa

All right! I will try, thank you very much.

sa

So I right-clicked on an unknown device, selected Update Driver, navigated to the folder (unzipped zip archive) and selected the folder. Then it says, no driver could be found. I have also tried the setup.exe in the archive, since then I have an entry "Bluetooth FTP" in Windows Explorer, but otherwise nothing has changed…

Fe

When making your selection, you must not click on search automatically but on: "Search my computer for driver software". Then you have to go to the file you have loaded and select it. Then it should work. Would you like to try it out with all devices? Out

Fe

If that still doesn't work, we look at the device IDs. Then I look for the right ones

sa

I have, but it still doesn't work…

sa

I'll have a look right away
