Sims 3 game only loading?

In Sims3 (laptop) I have a couple of families, but one family can't be played. So the loading screen goes on and on. In the end, when it is about 90% charged it stays that way. What can that be? So I can't play with the family anymore. It was quite a big family with a huge house and lots of odds and ends. I would be happy about any clever help gesch

For me it takes a long time until the game opens. How long are you waiting Do you play with mods? Perhaps you downloaded too much?

So I let it charge all day to test and it didn't open. Yes, I have mods, but it always worked before that. I don't know now why that is. And if I delete the mods, I don't know which ones specifically prevent the game. I would delete something which is then replaced by placeholders 😭

Do you play on CD or through Origin? Need to uninstall the game again and reinstall it? I don't know if the family will be gone by then. But I could well imagine that this might be due to the mods. For example, I have a lot of problems with downloaded content, but without it is also boring

Yeah, and with mods it's just more fun. Maybe you just uninstall the CD and then reinstall it? Unfortunately, I would not think of anything else other than deleting CC and mods, but then the score is gone anyway, because then you have to download exactly everything again: DD

Yes, that's why I prefer to leave the mods cost me a lot of time until I have them again wieder thank you anyway☺️
