The following problem: My cousin always played Sims 4 on my laptop. After you weren't allowed to meet because of Corona, she only played again after the easing, but when she wanted to play Sims 4, the following happened:
it opened Sims 4 normally, then Origin opened and updated / Sims 4 updated and opened normally
The Sims 4 crystal came as normal and loaded the game, but when it was loaded, the window did not go down or closed, but the window became transparent, so to speak, so that you could see my desktop background. The icons in the top right corner showed the icons minimize, reduce and close, but nothing happened when you clicked on the icons… There was only a small white border under these icons and I had to restart the laptop because there was nothing more to be done
We tried it again, but the same thing came out again. Having Sims 4 "repaired" on Origin and uninstalling and re-downloading it didn't help either. I don't know what to do anymore, she spent a lot of money and is really sad because she really liked the game.
What can be the reason why the game no longer works and how can I solve the problem? Of course, I also thought that it was because of my laptop, since it is no longer so new, but it was still perfect up to 4 months ago… I don't know if it is important, but my laptop is the Acer Aspire E5-573G
The problem sounds as if your PC or the game is hanging.
According to your question, it sounds as if this happens directly after the loading screen, but I can't see whether you mean the loading screen up to the main menu or the one up to the save.
In the event that it is the score, create a new score. If this goes, you have to say goodbye to the old game.
If it is the game itself (main menu):
Check the fan, or just vacuum it out. Alternatively download a tool for a hardware test and let's see if any component has (partially) given up.
Otherwise it would be interesting to know whether any system updates were imported during the "corona period".
