Sims 4 on MacBook Pro, Origins program?

I have the following laptop with the following storage capacity:

I just bought Sims 4 from https://www.mmoga.de/EA-Games/Die-Sims-4.html and then created an account on origins to be able to download it.

The game itself says: "only available for windows and mac" and this information: "Mac: OS X 10.9 or later, Intel Core 2 Duo), but this message also appears:

I find it strange in itself because I have a very new laptop and certainly not an outdated operating system with the latest software.
But I clicked on the 2nd link and downloaded the Origins program.

When I start this program I get an error message again:

And that doesn't really make any sense for me now, because according to the error message before, I downloaded an older version of Origins to be able to open it, but this would have to be updated now so that I can use it?

I don't know anything about gaming and that kind of thing, I don't know what that could be and I have already paid for the game and entered the key because I was sure that I would probably Sims with my new laptop with enough storage space could play! It is written everywhere…

You have a version of MacOS that is too new, Origin is not running ergo Sims 4 is not running.

Unfortunately, I don't know my way around Mac that much.

Can you go back to the old version? If so, you should go back to the version before Big Sur, i.e. 10.9 or something similar, so that should work.

If not then you'll have to wait for EA to get this up and running for Big Sur. I can't say how long that will take. It could be tomorrow but also in a month.
