I have a problem with my Bluetooth adapter. It is connected, the latest driver software is installed and still my Bluetooth speaker does not play any music, but only through my own laptop speaker! Can you help me in any way? I have no idea what it could be!
Have you set up your bt speakers as audio playback devices?
Simply click on the audio field in the task bar at the bottom left
What an audio field? Could you explain that to me in more detail?
The internal speaker is probably still in the hardware settings. Either you look in the hardware settings yourself and change it, or sometimes a restart also helps, so that the newly installed software starts working.
Where can I find the hardware settings?
Windows system / control panel / hardware…
Right mouse button above loudspeaker symbol in task bar
Select sound settings
select issue (probably still on realtek)
You still have to tell the laptop which speakers the sounds should come out of. Since windows, I think even xp, you can tell individual apps to use certain output devices.
z, B, skype on the headset, music on the speakers…
