I would like to play Youtube from my laptop via my Bluetooth speaker. Unfortunately, after connecting the speaker to the speaker, the Bluetooth window on my laptop asks which "file" it should play, which YouTube wouldn't be. Is there any way to play it as a file after all, e.g. As the audio output that the laptop plays through its own speakers?
I think you right click on the speaker icon in the lower right, then go to Sound Settings and set the Bluetooth speaker in the window above.
If you connect a speaker via Bluetooth as normal, you can usually also select it as an audio output.
If you have Windows 10, press the speaker icon and expand the dropdown above the volume bar. There you can then choose what the sound of the laptop should be played over.
If you stay connected to the box, then simply play the Youtube video and possibly click once on the volume control below and select your Bluetooth speaker with the small arrow.
Unfortunately I only have Windows 7 and there are no Bluetooth devices displayed.
Then have a look in the Control Panel under Sound
