I'm currently programming unity and have a 3-year-old laptop. Goes very well.

There's every current. There's no one without 3D chip.

I'm not a direct programmer, but I can tell you from my normal experience that a laptop with Windows 7 is much better. First, because the performance is sufficient for normal games and etc., and because the price is quite acceptable. Unlike laptops with Windows 10, these are usually expensive, and performance is the biggest mess on most laptops. Example: My sister bought a laptop with Windows 10 about 3 years ago for € 600. And the performance the laptop has is really nothing in gaming. She plays Sims on it fluently, but something no gamer plays which one classifies in the stage "medium to high and very high". I have a laptop with Windows 7 and has just € 259 new cost. The performance is really not bad so some games can play quite fluently. Just as an example.

There are different laptops… I have a VAIO laptop with an Intel Core i3 processor of 2.4 GHz. Add an AMD Radeon HD 7650M with 2GB of graphics memory (VRam). The RAM is 4 GB. For games from the present time is still sufficient and etc. As I said only cost € 259 new. An optimal price for the performance. Since you can only dream of a Windows 10 laptop for this money with good performance!
