So would you recommend a laptop or a PC for homeschooling?
If it's ONLY for school then maybe a laptop
But if you say I want to do other things like cutting things or playing games I would get a PC

I would take a laptop. In my opinion it is simply more practical because you are not tied to one place but can walk flexibly through the whole house.
I have a laptop with a docking station. I have a mouse, keyboard and a second monitor running over it. This is the best option for me because I appreciate the advantages of a desktop PC but also want to be mobile. Also edit photos and videos and work with CAD
Actually, neither of them. I would also work with pen and paper during homeschooling. For research there are libraries where you can borrow books or a browser on your mobile phone. YouTube videos e.g. Bring a lot. But since you want to have one of the two, I recommend a laptop or a notebook. This means you are mobile and not tied to an apartment.
