We were homeschooling the other day and a student was on Discord while taking an online class. Apparently the teacher could see that and then told him to leave it and concentrate on the lesson. It happens a lot, so my question is can the teachers see what I'm doing while homeschooling. (Of course you shouldn't get distracted during class, I only ask because I'm interested)
Everyone is already writing here that they can't see it. Then I don't know what exactly that was with Discord. The teacher was probably on Discord herself. XD
Of course they can't see that, maybe he made it stand out
Unless you're broadcasting your screen or some software is on your laptop, no they can't see it.
There's nothing to add;)
I don't know the school program;
but technically this is only possible if he has allowed remote access.
He probably just saw THAT he was doing something else.
the usual program is called TeamVieweing
NO.
If the student's gaze was not directed where it should have been (e.g. Everyone should be looking at the teacher's webcam), she may have pinned it to it, or she heard something he was muttering to himself, or he typed like crazy when he was supposed to be calculating something, and you heard that.
Those would be possible reasons by which she recognized this.
Or you gave her your Discord username for fun and she checked Discord to see who was online.
Not really.
Either the teacher checked who was online or she checked it out, e.g. Through
Sounds.
If the student wears glasses, maybe through the mirroring.
Because the student was distracted.
Or similar
