Bluetooth USB stick is not working?

Hi. I have no aux connection in my car, only usb. That's why I came up with the idea to get a bluetooth usb stick to play music from my cellphone in the car. So I plug in the stick, connect my phone and start the music. On the phone is displayed that now music on the drive is running. The car radio displays media play. But nothing works. The same thing I've tried again on the laptop and nothing happens. I also connected the aux cable from the stick to the laptop (and the stick). And it did not work either. Does jmd know?

Then something is broken on the BT-Stick… Go where you bought it and change it.

Whether that then works on the car radio I do not know. What prevents you to copy your music from the phone to a data USB stick and play it? Or to connect the phone with cable directly?

Well, that's not exactly the latest technology. For example, I'm (not the questioner) use Spotify, always other songs. I also want to play the playlist and play the song, put a song in the queue or something else. But alright, that's just the music.

It becomes problematic when, e.g. On the phone, the Navi wants to use or other apps (many use, for example, a Blitzer App). Then you want, of course, that the music is just quieter and the Navi or whatever app something briefly. Of course, this will not work anymore. There are better alternatives.

If you have no AUX connection, a radio station remains. You plug it into the cigarette lighter or the power socket and connect to the device via Bluetooth. The device then works like a radio station and streams the whole thing. At the car radio one then goes to the appropriate frequency and hears the music from the mobile phone. Everything without cable.

Here is a device: https://www.amazon.de/...0756BXQP7/

Why not connect the phone directly via USB cable? Then it should work!

mo

If the radio supports that (most of them should), then of course you can do so, as long as audio is streamed, and not just the phone is read out and works like a USB stick. As a young guy I honestly can't remember using it that way.

Dr

Most likely, the stick will not go on the car radio! But the connection is simply not made. Also, you can't install drivers that the stick would probably need!

Many USB ports do not even recognize a connected mobile phone.

st

I've already tried. Unfortunately does not work.

st

But does that also explain that the stick on the laptop does not work?

Dr

No

Ro

The radio does not recognize the stick. Even if the laptop does not automatically recognize it, it does not seem to be in order, even if no music is played it must at least be recognized.

st

Yes, he is also recognized.

Stick in the laptop, with right on "properties" because it looks like it's formatted you need FAT 32 for sure. If not: exchange.
