I'm currently playing Sims 4 on a very old laptop and am wondering if it wouldn't work better on my Mac Book Air (8GB).
But since I have about 20 expansion packs, it would take up a lot of storage space and performance.
Has anyone tried playing with Mac Book Air and lots of expansion packs?
Of course we're talking about sims 4 that is a game that is not demanding at all. This macbook should even be enough for sims 5 if it should ever come out.
But also with many expansion packs?
This laptop has everything and more that you need for a sims 4 memory more than sims 4 (with any expansion pack) can use and a processor that is up to date. The device is not suitable for gaming because the graphics card is missing, but games such as sims or e.g. Fortnite don't need these.
I would rather get a macbook pro instead of you, if at all, why should it be the air?
Because i already bought a mac book air because i wanted one to work with. I'm just unsure whether I should play Sims on it now or not a more powerful PC.
As I said, this is completely sufficient for sims, but it could be that the macbook air gets so uncomfortably hot while playing, so that was the case with previous models also with older pros, if that should be the case, just load mac fan control down, so you can adjust how hard the fan should work.

I have the Mac Book Pro 2020 and it runs great. If your device meets the minimum requirements then you can definitely play it. What graphics card do you have?
