I got a laptop from a friend of my mom's because I'm supposed to be repairing, in fact, I've tried everything I know about recovery, etc. Or trying to put an anti virus program on it didn't bring anything the laptop doesn't want to be saved (it's virus on it) I have now removed the hard drive and scanned the hard drive on my pc via an adapter, nothing finds anything I want to remove everything and install Windows on it, but there's a way where I don't have to re-pack Windows myself so something like recovery on external?
What kind of virus? How is it all noticeable?
When connected to the internet, thousands of p *** pages open and pop ups appear everywhere. I assume it's a virus. The problem is it has been on the pc for 6 years and is only now to me the thing is actually in the bucket I've now formatted the hard drive and play windows on it.
