Is there a laptop minimum requirements comparison page?

I still have an old laptop from 2015 with which I'm actually still very satisfied, but it is slowly coming to its knees.

I would like at least the same features as currently (e.g. 2 graphics cards, 16 GB RAM, etc.). Is there a page on which I can enter my current characteristics, which then shows me the latest models that meet these requirements at least (rather better)?

Take a look at idealo or geizhals. You can enter anything

Thank you, I'll have a look!

Every meta sales page… I mostly used Geizhals.eu, idealo is also popular, but you can also adjust the search criteria directly with dealers such as mindfactory, alternate or caseking.

Something like 'two graphics cards' of course not, on the one hand because it is not correct (IGP and GPU with dedicated memory) and on the other hand because it makes no sense. It doesn't depend on the number, but on the performance and consumption.

It always makes sense to start with your budget and ask yourself what you actually want (e.g. Mobility, i.e. A maximum of a certain size, a certain weight and a minimum of certain battery capacity or a good panel, i.e. At least (AH-) IPS with> 400cd / m² or at least one for gaming GPU 1660S or 2060 or better). Enter that as frame bindings, sort by price and see what is possible with your budget.

Wow, thank you very much for your detailed answer and for taking the time to do it. But I have actually installed two graphics cards in my Acer Aspire V17 Nitro laptop. An intel inside CORE i7 and an NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 960m. I try to make myself smart on the websites.

The IGP (integrated graphics unit) is not a "graphics card", it is just a GPU, just the chip. The 960m will probably not be a real graphics card either, then it would have to be connected as a separate component via a PCIe interface, with laptops these are MXM cards. But this is only done very seldom, normally the GPU is soldered on the board together with dedicated memory (the IGP uses the main memory of the CPU), the power is supplied via the mainboard. This design allows flat laptops to be produced.

Again, it doesn't matter. Almost every mobile CPU has an IGP. So you don't look for two 'graphics cards', you just look for the GPU that you would like to have.

You seem to know your way around very well. I'll take a closer look at everything. Otherwise, if I have any questions, may I contact you again? I've been told "You don't have two graphics cards" before, and I only replied to what is shown. But I will follow your advice and hope I will find what I'm looking for!

Bo

Sure, just ask if you need help.
