It's actually quite easy, but you have to turn it around… Very important, Windows first and then Ubuntu! If you want to install Windows as the second OS, Windows will destroy the boot loader and you can no longer select which OS you want to boot when starting. Windows does not recognize that there's still an OS on your hard disk. So if you first run Windows and then Ubuntu instalierst you set up Ubuntu automatically during the installation so that you can choose at startup what OS you want to boot.

By simply installing Windows… Windows will erase Ubuntu.
Two partitions, Windows on one partition, Linux on the other partition. During the Linux installation, a boot loader is installed where you can choose which operating system to start with.
