Would have found one on Amazon (TESmart 1x2 HDMI splitter) but the answer to the questions is that you can connect 2 external monitors to the splitter, but you would only get the same image as output.
I would rather have a splitter that can create screen 2 and screen 3. Anyone have an idea?
That should actually be feasible in the Windows display settings and as far as I know it is independent of the splitter or HDMI cable itself. The default setting is always that the screen is cloned, as if a projector is connected.
A splitter ALWAYS duplicates the picture. Better to only purchase a dual output graphics card or something that supports display port 1.2 (which will daisy chain monitors that also support daisy chaining of 1.2 display ports from a single display port output can).
There's no such thing.
Your video output can't send two images through one interface.
