I bought a HDMI Splitter (1in 4out). Now I would like to stream the image from my PS4 to my TV and to my laptop. However, neither on my TV nor on my laptop appears a picture.
Make sure the light is green (where the TV is connected). Also, the light "IN" must be green.
The laptop will not work because a laptop (actually) has no HDMI IN.
It's all green,
Have a capture card on the laptop
What do you mean by Capture Card?
If you connect a capture card to the laptop's HDMI output, it will not become an HDMI IN.
I have a capture card which is connected to the USB and then to HDMI in
Then you need only one program, which then accepts the image of USB. Eg OBS.
I also have XD
Can you test it only with the TV? If the TV does not show a picture is probably the splitter broken.
TV does not show anything even though the lamp on the output of the TV is green
Then probably the splitter is broken.
So you connected it to the power, right?
Yes I have. Apparently he is really broken although he arrived today.
That does not work like this.
Your laptop does not have a monitor input. You are causing a short circuit because you go with the notebook output in the splitter output.
So only the PS4 (Input Splitter) and TV (Output Splitter) connect.
Does the splitter work without your Capture Card on the laptop?
Only from PS4 → Splitter → TV, I have already tried. Does not work either
No, because my laptop has no HDMI IN
Times turn on the TV directly to the PS4 and make control if that is possible, then make the splinter in between, or optionally even make the notebook to the splitter input, if that does not work, the splitter may have a problem
So PS4 works directly on the TV. However, if I make the splinter in between, there's no picture.
Well then as written times notebook to splitter input and TV to splitter output.
I closed the laptop to the input and it works. Is it possibly because dss PS4 does not work with the splitter?
I would then see it synonymous… Or sometimes change the HDMI cable.
Or make PS4, turn on the TV to output splitter, splitter and TV and then make PS4 on.
Have the HDMI cable changed. Does not work either. So it does not work with the PS
Did you do the switch groove like I wrote?
If that does not work either then it probably does not work with the splitter.
I mean, if your TV gets a video signal from the splitter, if you do not attach your Capture Card there.
