I have a new laptop with Windows 10 preinstalled…
I have seen on YT that one should set up the laptop better user-defined if you have for example a SDD and HDD…
I would like to install Windows 10 on the SDD my laptop has 512 GB HDD and 512 GB SDD how can I now recognize what is what?
When installing Windows, you first select the hard disk on which you then create a partition on which Windows is finally installed. This partition is then created on the SSD. This can be recognized by the name or the model name or by the port to which the SSD has been connected.
I do not understand your problem. If Win 10 is preinstalled, that certainly is on the SSD, and so it should be
If you have to ask this question, then keep your hands off any modifications.
Knowing what disk the SSD and what the HDD is is an absolute, basic knowledge of what you need to have on your machine.
Have you ever installed 2 drives?
