Install HDD in laptop?

I've been thinking about buying a laptop for a long time:

Ryzen 7 4800H or i7 10750H
32GB RAM
RTX 2060 (was automatically included in the selection)
BUT only 500GB M.2 SSD

Here the question: Is there a way to install a (e.g. 2 TB) HDD yourself? Since I'm not yet holding the laptop in my hand, I don't know whether there would be room for one at all.

Another idea would be to buy an external hard drive. But they are often too slow…

Another idea would be to buy an external hard drive. But they are often too slow…

That or a NAS is of course also possible. External hard drives are not really slower than internal ones. Unless you're using USB 2.0 or something. Then you will reach limits with SSDs. With HDDs this is usually enough because the hard drive is already slow.
