I've linked my laptop to a Microsoft account for an internship that provided me with the company and will probably be disabled after completing my internship. My laptop is still linked and this link can't be solved, because I seem to have to sign up again, but that's not more.
How do I resolve the link to my laptop?
Log in from your PC or another.
That should work.
Under settings and accounts, this should change without a new login.
Unfortunately not. In the settings I can only choose "Manage Account" and then I will automatically be directed to the login page of Microsoft…
Are there any other settings? Because I have only searched under "accounts" so far
I can't sign up anymore. Those in the internship also said that the account is disabled or deleted. This seems to have happened now and I have been missing before removing the account from my laptop…
I've just noticed that my private account has a Remove button next to Manage. In the business account, there's only the Manage button…
Maybe you can't remove it because it's already inactive. There are two options now: Either you ask your employer again and ask for help or you are dealing with the Windows support.
I have done it now by explicitly looking for work account in the settings. That's why I came to "manage work", there was the Optiopn "disconnect". Now the account does not appear on my account, I hope that stays that way. Thanks for your answers so far, new answers are no longer necessary.
I just made it.
