Confirm PayPal code?

First of all: I have already looked for solutions on the Internet and have seen that this problem has existed for more than 7 years!

Now to my concern:

I have received my PayPal account for almost a year and 1-2 months ago that I have to confirm my bank account. I have never requested a code or received a transfer from PayPal, this is 100% confirmed. Still, I have the code between the two P's (P1234P). Then I wanted to enter it on the Internet at PayPal in Safari, but I can't click on the field where you can enter the code, but I do click the confirm button underneath… Now I'm a little confused.
There's supposed to be another method of confirming the bank account that I also tried, that is, depositing money into PayPal, which I also did with the code in the intended use, but my account is still unconfirmed.
I also called the PayPal support team who said the problem was not with them but with the browser. So I tried again on my laptop (MacBook) also on a laptop with Windows where I tried Firefox and Internet Explorer, everything does not work. In the end it has to be PayPal because this problem since 7! Years.
Now I don't know how to confirm my account. I can't request a new code or remove my bank account. I was thinking about whether I should delete the PayPal account and just make a new one, but I'm afraid that the new one will not work with the bank account because it has already been entered in the other. The account would then be deleted anyway, but I have no idea… Did anyone find the same problem and possibly a solution?
