I'm thinking to buy a gaming laptop, I'm not sure whether I should get me a well-known or put a self together?
I have already found a few such as The ASUS ROG Strix series, which I like best so far. What about MSI, DELL, and so on?
No HP or Lenovo! Priced, I would like to spend about 2500 EUR.
Does anyone else have experience with Captiva or XMG?

I would throw this one around here. Is a desktop i7-8700 and a 2080.
Are also barebones for their own equipment:

Why not HP? I myself have a gaming notebook HP OMEN and am very satisfied, the support is also very good
I'm just in love with this gaming computer… In your place, I would have this computer built together if you can search the web well for less than 4000 euro…
Do not tell me. Especially I like the "design" not really, especially the hinge to unfold… But thanks anyway
Thank you for that, but I do not want to get a desktop PC, but really a laptop. The PC itself is a bit too much in the luggage. Since I take the good piece to China. Since such a laptop is practical and handy. But still… Nice part
Especially the hinge to unfold
but you already know that there are different and not all look the same,
The design should be secondary, more important is the processing, cooling, performance and especially the support.
at ASUS, MSi and co paid only on it for marketing, are better not synonymous.
when I bought my omen in May 2017, I paid 1440 euro / 17 ", gtx 1070, i7) for exactly the same hardware hardware, I would have paid at the above at least 1800 euro, just because they might look better from the design ago.
but the cooling, volume, etc. Would have been the same
but ok everyone has a different taste.
at Lenovo, I can fully understand the dislike, which are very poorly processed.
ASUS, MSI, does not care, although I would rather tend to Asus, at MSI I know many where the notebooks give up the spirit of the warranty and Asus is very criticized for the support.
Schenker (XMG) is top and also has a great support, but you also notice the price.
Okay, I did not know that now. Do I have to look again - Thought they all have this hinge in the middle.
But of course you are right! The built-in components are of course the essential aspect when buying a device in this price range. After all, it's supposed to last a while.
What do you think of this:

or that heir:
Thought they all have this hinge in the middle
no mine has left and right one
What I think of it, I can tell you
my opinion is that the much too expensive, the notebooks have a resolution of 1920x1080p (Full HD) as synonymous ne older graphics card loose, such as the GTX 1070
just to make it clear: my notebook has only ne GTX 1070 and I can play everything without problems with Ultra Settings, even if I connect the notebook to my 27 "2560 x 1440p (WQHD) 144 hz I have no problems highest settings.
I just looked for the fast thing,
when I look at it now
https://www.notebooksbilliger.de/...g+notebook
it costs 500 euro less and is enough to play all current games at the highest settings.
Ram can be upgraded for a little money yourself, which usually have a service flap for it, synonymous ne SSD can currently buy if needed for very little money and replace or ne second SSD install (the cost as good as nothing more) and then still a lot cheaper.
So that's just my opinion
