Maybe you can reduce the load a bit with V-Sync:-)
There are cooling pads with fans where you can put your laptop on. And you should dust off your laptop fans (there are tutorials), pollution is often the cause of high temperatures.
Limit FPS and turn on V-Sync
Somehow I can only do one of the two… If I set the fps limit down, the vsync automatically goes out

Balanced makes the most sense… Then the system tackles down when no power is required and high under load:-)
