There's a nameplate on the bottom of the laptop. It says something like
DC rating and two items e.g. DC 19 V --- 3.42 A
That means 19 volts, 3.42 amps. If you take these two values, you have the power in watts that a power supply unit must have at least. In my example, at least 65 watts.
