I bought a new laptop (Dell Inspiron) (Windows 10 Enterprise), but it has a problem:
I started / set it up and first of all, music via an (aux) headset always worked great. But after every restart it got more and more noisy. And after 3x it was only noise.
To fix it again, I uninstalled the driver in the device manager, deleted files from the profile (option in the device manager) and restarted → The music through the headset was pure noise again and it worked well. However, there was the same problem again → The noise got worse with every restart and after 3-4 it was only noise again.
Over and over again. Is that a hardware failure? But that would be strange because it always works?
A probably stupid solution would be to write a shutdown hook script which always deletes these files and uninstalls the driver. But would that even be possible?
Or are there possibly other very simple solutions?
Seems like a case for the guarantee.
