Return policy for laptop, which gets scratches because of construction?

6 weeks ago I bought a new "convertible" laptop directly from Dell, especially for studying because you can also use a stylus pen.
To do this, you have to turn the screen to the back and then has a thick tablet, with the side facing down with the keyboard.

Here is the link to the model:

I'm almost completely satisfied with the device, but there are already some areas of wear where the paint (or alloy?) Dissolves on the keyboard side.
These are mostly on the corners, but a "scratch" is pretty striking over the mousepad.
Every time I use the laptop in tablet mode, I have some paint marks on my wooden table afterwards (I use the device only on wooden pads and hardly move it, even if the rubber edges would have to prevent the friction?)

The laptop was not cheap, so I turned to Customer Service, who was confident that it would be covered by the warranty, but then on demand said it was not a reason for a warranty claim.
I think that's pretty cheeky, considering the price.
Certainly, the problem does not affect the function of the laptop, but you can expect that the device is built so that something does not happen, right?
If the device already has such digits after 6 weeks, what should it look like in a year?

So, do I have a right to a warranty claim or not?

Thank you for your answers!

The scratches you see there are own debt. Such models are highly sensitive. Therefore no right of return. I come from the trade in the field. Can you try, if anything is done, it is Kulant.

Only because it also has to be deleted under data law, that costs you again up to 100 euro.

Why own debt? I only used the device as it should and otherwise I'm very careful in use. The paint goes off because the rubber edges are not high enough, which is why the laptop surface touches the table.

You can say a lot. Facts speak for themselves. Own scratches like in the picture do not happen on the edge out of the blue. Can you tell me what you want, that's the way it is.

And that has nothing to do with the warranty.

When I turn the laptop over and switch to tablet mode, I do it very carefully. Also put on the table, happens in slow motion. Even while working, I hardly move the device. And yet, every time I take it off the table, traces of paint are on the table where the corners or spot above the touchpad used to be.
That may not be related to how I use the device.

It is only my opinion and personally, I find that the manufacturer has the obligation to construct the device so that it does not start to scratch after six weeks if used carefully.

If you know the traces of use, why do not you put material between the table and the device to avoid further traces?

These are unfortunately wear and tear that can be assigned at any time! Have, for example, a tasting bought not even 1 year without resolution some bush Keeps! The old from 15 years ago has not done such things!

A return is not possible even if the thing goes up in flames. Then you get after 3 weeks an identical replacement device.
