Play PlayStation on the laptop?

I got a laptop today and wonder if I can play PlayStation on it? So connect the PlayStation so that I can use the laptop as a screen instead of the TV. Yes, the computer has the power etc. I usually play in the living room and have no TV or screen of my own except the laptop.

If you only want to use the laptop as a screen, the computing power doesn't matter. If the laptop has an HDMI input, you can do that.
