Can't reinstall WindowsAppStore?

My old laptop broke and I put the hard drive on it in an old laptop.

The WIndows App Store (and also the app for opening pictures) can't be found. I tried to reinstall it according to the PowerShell principle… Only when the program shows me the list of applications is the Windows Store not there…

I also tried to download Apss from the Microsoft website… But apparently it doesn't work without the app (?): "Opera could not open the link because there were no applications linked to the" ms-windows-store: "protocol Your system was found. "

Anyone an idea from where else I could safely download the store (and the pictures app)?

Has an operating system been reinstalled?

Sw

It's probably because Windows Store is just lump.

Is there any other good / safe alternative?

Sw

Yes: Steam, Origin, etc… Because which app do you want to get from App store? Most apps are just pointless.

Go

Doesn't help me completely when I want to download microsoft applications… Such as A picture app… Since my immoment can be opened with Paint.

Sw

Yes, you can certainly download enough pictures app alternative without app Stora somewhere else.

And streaming apps

Sw

Yes, streaming apps can also be used in the browser.

Go

Yes… Only they run faster than app, especially if you use VPN.

Sw

Yes, it is good for you if it runs much faster in the browser than with the app.

But it doesn't seem to work anyway to download such APPs to the laptop… So nevermind that.

Go

Although… Microsoft store has Netflix… Just does not work… Again the message from my question…

Sw

Did you reinstall Windows? Or which windows do you use?

Sw

The main question is which Windows he is currently using? Whether he is not using older than Windows 10. If he even uses Windows 7, then I'm not surprised.

Go

I don't know whether the repair type has reinstalled Windows, but it is Windows 10

Sw

Then I would reinstall Windows 10 if it somehow doesn't work with Windows Store. You can download the Windows 10 installation to a USB stick (Attention! All data in the USB stick will be lost) and then reinstall Windows 10 from the USB stick.

Go

Oh her… But thanks

Sw

And have you ever made Windows 10 updates? Even with the update, the possible white problem can solve itself.

Go

Checked and there are still free updates

ra

Also guess 🙂

Windows XP 😁

Sw

OK. Did that work now after the update?

Go

Ne… But I just looked for "Windows store" in my files and there were actually a few folders that had "… Windows-store-install…" in their names… Let's see if I can do something with them

Sw

OK. If nothing works, you have to set up Windows 10 again
