I uninstalled the audio driver earlier because of sound problems. Now I'm looking for a way to reinstall it. I have completely relied on instructions on the Internet… How do I proceed and where can I find a suitable one?
This is the information about the laptop ⬆️
Hope you can help me.
Thank you! I don't see through it at all.
Unfortunately, the information in the photo says nothing.
Look under the device (possibly in the battery bay) for terms such as
ABCDEA # ABD (recognizable by the "hash" and three characters behind it)
THEN you can check exactly what that sound solution is.
Realtek is very common, but HP likes to use other solutions. Then the blanket recommendation of Realtek's HD audio manager will not really work.
Please submit the information later (see my answer)
At the manufacturer of the notebook. Usually you just have to click on "Update Driver" in the Device Manager. Windows has drivers for most devices.
You can also update the drivers in the device manager… It's the simplest
Device Manager → Audio inputs and outputs → [respective device] → Update driver
