My current computer is still running Windows 8 … A program but now wants more… I can't do an update because I had never activated the Windoes 8 and the key on the PC draufsteht (No, I have nothing illegal on it or so had PC then bought new in 2013) sodas I can't update on Windos 10.

Have no great claims. Like Gamen or something… Am a lot on the net… Have only minor programs on the run. Online Banking; Invoice program; Word etc. And of course a lot of photos with a family of 4 … What would you recommend to me? Which PC and where to buy? In the usual dealer are only 3-4 devices around. Everything on laptop aligned I think.

If you have Windows 8 enabled on the machine, you can use the key directly for an update to Windows 10. Start the setup from the current Windows 8, not by booting from the Windows CD. Then it works without entering the key.

I would buy a used business device because they work reliably and are cheap. Search for example. At ITSCO.
