I have my email address on my cell phone and on my laptop. All emails are always displayed on the laptop, but only new ones on the cell phone. When they are a few days old, it always says 'No mails' and you can't find them in any folder.

If you use an email client, does it access it via IMAP or POP3?

If access is via POP3 and you have saved the default settings there, the emails will be deleted from the server of your email provider after the POP3 is retrieved. It would also explain why you no longer have email on your mobile phone.
