I have my email address on my cell phone and on my laptop. All emails are always displayed on the laptop, but only new ones on the cell phone. When they are a few days old, it always says 'No mails' and you can't find them in any folder.
This is a bit annoying, as I sometimes want to reopen any links or documents in the emails and do not always have the time and desire to go to the laptop, but they are no longer on the cell phone.
Can this problem be solved somehow?
What kind of email account do you have (for "@gmail" would it be google?)
Do you do it via an app on your phone or do you go to the website from your email account? (Would be at Gmail https://accounts.google.com/signin/v2/identifier?service=mail&passive=true&rm=false&continue=https%3A%2F%2Fmail.google.com%2Fmail%2F%3Fhl%3Dde&ss=1&scc=1<mpl=googlemail&hl=de&emr=1&osid=1&flowName=GlifWebSignIn&flowEntry=ServiceLogin website) And you can usually set that it will be removed after 30 days, for example, do you have it somehow on standard?
If I may ask what would be the problem of going to your laptop when you are at home, maybe you can only take a look once or twice a day if you want (but can also understand that using a cell phone is better, above all) when you're on the go)
Email apps for smartphones often only hold emails for a certain time, probably to save space. The duration can usually be Change in the settings.
Which email app do you use?
So I have an outlook address and thank you, I will see if that is also an attitude.
Yes, sometimes I just want to look at a document quickly, of course I can still use my laptop, but somehow that is sometimes a bit unnecessary, just switch it on and so, sometimes it is more uncomplicated on the cell phone and it would be practical if they are still there
Outlook
With pleasure,
Okay good if that should work like this ^^
If not, you can write again if you want.
Yes, I have already looked, unfortunately I have not found anything, but I have found that when I search for certain emails they are shown to me. That means the problem is solved first, thanks ^^
Ok then it fits
Are you using a local email client (such as Thunderbird, Outlook) or a webmailer on your laptop?
If you use an email client, does it access it via IMAP or POP3?
If access is via POP3 and you have saved the default settings there, the emails will be deleted from the server of your email provider after the POP3 is retrieved. It would also explain why you no longer have email on your mobile phone.
If IMAP is used, please check whether there are archiving settings in the mail client. Could also be the case that these are then archived on the local e-mail client after some time and can then no longer be accessed by mobile phone.
