Smartphone only shows Samsung logo and hangs?

I have a huge problem:

Earlier, I started updates of apps on my mobile phone (Samsung S7) as normal and wanted to download an app at the same time. So everything as always.

About half of it worked, then he complained that the internal memory was full. So only under 550MB free.

Not a drama in itself, but then it hung up completely. I just left it there for a moment and thought it would be good again, as usual. Instead, it restarted itself after a few minutes no longer responding.

Since then, when it is restarted, it hangs permanently where it shows the Samsung logo. I don't even get into safe mode to simply delete a few apps if necessary, because even if I want to open it, as I said, it only comes to the Samsung logo. Let the battery run out and restart, nothing helps.

First thought: Back up the data, because the last backup was unfortunately a few months ago, but my laptop no longer recognizes the cell phone, does not react at all or shows an error message that it does not recognize the connected device. Unfortunately, it always does that when it is not unlocked.

According to Google, it is stuck in a boot loop. Nice, didn't tell me anything.

So, as suggested there, I closed the phone with the power + volume key and then started it in recovery mode with the power + volume key + Homebutten. It always shows something else. As specified on "wipe cache process" and then when it was finished, went to "reboot system now". What happens: It's stuck on the Samsung logo again and I can watch it for hours as it lights up brighter and darker without what happens.

The mobile phone no longer has a guarantee, of course, as it is too old for that.

Is there any way you can think of to get the data promptly?

As it is in the modern world, the cell phone does everything! I don't have a phone and I live alone, so I can't even call support (or a friend). Or set an alarm for me tomorrow morning, nothing works… Luckily I have the old laptop to ask here…

But as I said, the most important thing to me is the data. I've wanted a new cell phone for a long time, but I'd like to somehow save the data, especially all of my contacts and photos. That would be a hard loss!

I'm infinitely grateful for every helpful tip!

No.

No backup. No Mercy.

Ti

I had that too and I would go to a specialist consultant because the processor is probably out of place😂

Ma

How can that be?
Before, everything went quite normally and suddenly nothing works anymore…
Especially since almost 500MB of the "freely available" are still free, it was just too full for further updates. I already had that months ago and then he simply stopped the ongoing update and nothing else was there.

Ma

How does that work?

The cell phone didn't fall down or anything, it was lying on the table as normal…

And what does that cost? My only concern is to save the data, the cell phone itself would be completely irrelevant to me.

Ti

For me it cost 20 euro and for me it was also like that I did nothing but it happened anyway😂

There can be a thousand reasons for this. From defective flash memory to a chicken and egg problem. I certainly can't do forensics. Nobody can do that. It is and remains:

No backup. No Mercy.

Ma

And where does that go?

I've never had a cell phone repaired and now with Corona there's no shop open… I can't even call without a cell phone!

Ma

I'm now again in the power + volume button + Homebutten in there.
It says below now

#fail to open recovery_cause (No such file or directory) #
#Reboot Recovery Cause is [UNKNOWN] #
File-based OTA
Supported API: 3
dm-verity verification failed…

Can you do something with it or explain it to me?

Be

Well, someone who tries to boot from the recovery (partition? File?) Can't find it or it is corrupt. The cell phone is bricked. Almost perfectly bricked.
