I have a problem with "Stronghold Crusader HD" which I bought some time ago on Steam.
I played "Stronghold Crusader HD" a year ago on my laptop with my friends. I have not played for a long time and wanted to play it with my friends on my new PC but it did not start. I already chuckled at Steam support if the tips can help me, unfortunately they could not. I've already checked the files for errors on Steam and watched if Pograms block the game, but both had not been the mistake. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it, but unfortunately it did not work. If I click on "Play" is only there "is running". We thought it was a shame that we could not play it, especially since other Stronghold parts ("Stronghold Crusader Extreme HD", "Stronghold 2", "Stronghold HD" and "Stronghold Legends") were only playable on Steam "Stronghold Crusader HD " Not.
What I have also noticed that in the files no Stronghold Crusader file exists but only a Stronghold Crusader Extreme file, which is probably the error, but multiple reinstalling brings nothing synonymous. I really do not know how to fix it.
I hope they can help me with my problem and I look forward to their answers.
Is your anti-virus system blocking this?
I can play Crusader Extreme HD yes, or install only the normal Stronghold Crusader HD not. There's no message from my anti-virus software, which would normally be the case. At the moment I was able to copy the file from my notebook, drag it onto a stick and copy it over to this PC. I'll try that, but thank you for your help.
Edit: Did not work either.
The interesting thing is that you only have one Stronghold Extreme.exe while ONLY I have a Stronghold.exe. ò.ó
I'm so stupid. XD
Stronghold Crusader HD was also included in the Stronghold Crusader Extreme file. Although I can't start it on Steam, but do it in the file as an administrator. That's enough for me.
I still thank you for your help.
That's crazy.
