When I was at my laptop (operating system: Windows) I saw a config file somewhere in the folder. When I opened this a script came up and it was called Shopper pro 3.
what is it and do I have anything to fear?
Velen thanks for your answers
There are quite a few config files on the PC and you don't open them either, because they are started within a program by an automated process and whether you have anything to worry about. We don't know either, because we don't know which program the config file belongs to
Regardless of that, you can use google for something like that and then you would have stumbled across this article:
https://www.file.net/prozess/shopperpro3.dll.html
Many Thanks.
could you briefly tell me what is in the article
You're welcome
Yes I could. But sorry, I don't want to. I (had) also had to acquire my knowledge by reading and everything and I also assume that from others that if they have a problem they are presented with a "suggested solution" and then read in the topic
Thanks. I have read it now. But unfortunately it doesn't say how to remove it
Windows defender then found a "program" which we then had cleaned up. Did that have something to do with it?
So just by "skimming" the article, I can already see that they give you tips on how to proceed against the part and possibly get it going
May be. No idea what the Defender found on you and advised you to remove it
Yes, I'm sorry, but this subject makes me really crazy. Because it says it's 53% dangerous and I've had it for 2 months and I'm really scared right now
Thanks
It is not possible to present a 100% solution for each individual here, as nobody but you knows what is installed on your PC and how the system behaves
If you want, then use the eset online scanner, for example, it might find something that the Defender overlooks
Okay thanks
Can I do this with another antivirus program?
Of course you can
If you download and install a paid, smart one
As the name suggests, the eset OnlineScanner is an online scanner that uses the eset engine via OnlineScan without installing anything
But as I said: you can also use any other virus scanner of your choice
I only show the solution with especially the product that I have trusted for over 15 years
Okay thank you very much
