I'm looking for a relatively cheap office notebook for my work / training.
It should have 15 inches and not cost more than 500 euro.
I would also like to watch movies or series in my spare time sometimes.
What would be an option.
Can you expect a solid laptop for the price at all?

The Ryzen are quite fix and have reasonably graphics performance, should actually be enough for "Office".
This is the best for less than 500 euro, often costs 444 euro for notebook credit.

You just have to buy Windows Key for 10 euro and install it yourself.
The i5 is future proof, have my notebook with similar Specs for 7 years!
I can only agree. With a Ryzen 5 2500u you can even play some games fluently.
I can recommend this: https://geizhals.de/...ml?hloc=de
Has very modern technology under the hood & is therefore quite fast. This one has even if you ever need a CD drive.
If you want it cheaper, this would still go here: https://geizhals.de/...ml?hloc=de
But he has an HDD instead of an SSD which makes the laptop despite good technology quite lethargic. Here is a video showing the topic:
You can see quite well that despite virtually identical computer only with another hard drive, has a big difference between loading times of programs.
I would be there the surcharge for the 500 euro laptop worth the fact that things load faster.
