Problem with laptop and 3D monitor?

My technique:

Laptop with HDMI 2.0 and USB-C 3.0 as video output. NVidia 3D Vision2 glasses.

3D monitor with HDMI 1.4, DVI and display port.

In the operating instructions of the monitor it is stated explicitly, 3D not with HDMI.

How do I wire the whole thing now to be able to use 3D?

My idea is to get from the laptop with HDMI into a D-Dvi adapter and to the monitor. Does that work then?

Bad news… 3D vision was stamped… Finito. End, out!

It would still work if I found the right, 3D-capable cabling. It took a lot of effort, but I even found drivers for Win10 and the IR transmitter is now even green.

So, as long as it was still running, it was already running on HDMI. DVI is also possible.
