Moin friends of music

I urgently need your help! I own a Behringer XR18Xair and play the drums. I have now connected the Behringer to my laptop by cable with Reaper and loaded the corresponding Behringer driver. I also receive a signal from Reaper or can record my drums.

Now the question: Why don't I hear anything about my in ears? Neither myself in Reaper, nor music, which I just add as a new track as seen in the picture.

Something is wrong somewhere, isn't it?

Hi! I'm currently struggling with a Soundcraft ui24r with the same problem. I know the reaper image from a training video, I use Adobe Audition myself. In terms of logic, however, it seems to be the same.

As a result, you have to bring the output (the monitoring signal) back into your mixer. This is done via the patch matrices in the mixer software. I got a sound when I routed channels 5 and 6 to input 20 for the two drum channels (is an edrum) on the DAW tab… According to the video, the AuX inputs would be used for this. Now the channel strip says DAW and I can use the slider to operate it as if it were my own instrument. As I said, Reaper was used in the video and your sound card screenshots look like mine.

At the moment I only record one eDrum, I'll wait with the acoustic one until I've really eaten it. Look, maybe that will help you. Greeting

Thank you. Daw as a newcomer is like driving a car as a little boy.

That's right. Up until about 2 years ago we were still working completely analog with a tape mixer and an extra mixer for my drums and with a USB interface and when the keyboard player attached the 24-channel digital mixer, I was initially totally overwhelmed with all the possibilities. I just bought the 16-channel Soundcraft for the drums and in the process, not least because of the corona, started to deal with the connection to a DAW. Hours go by… But it's also interesting and a nice pastime. Greeting
