I have a 400GB SD card in my notebook as a kind of second hard drive. Many folders on the desktop refer to this, etc. I therefore want the drive letter to always remain the same. However, it changes every time after restarting Windows so that I have to change it manually first.
Set the drive letter in the disk management. Ideally Z, then the Probability is no longer automatically changed.
For example, if you If you have C and D as HDD, then the next free letter is used for another drive or USB stick etc. What then would be D.
I want the plate to stay F… But it always becomes D
But I don't want to change all of my paths either, so the name should be permanently F.
Either a lot of work once, or reassigned every time.
