I still have the problem with one company (I'm not allowed to mention the name here) p. V. Z. I had written them a cancellation via subscription alarm 2 months ago and still they had debited the money from me. Then I have Saturday last week on April 10th. Again I wrote a resignation but since I didn't have a laptop. Handwritten on a piece of paper with the request that you leave me alone. However, I couldn't make a copy of it either, but I sent the letter off. Last Monday I went to the bank and then had it booked back because I gave notice 2 months ago. I also just moved this month. My notice of termination was probably only sent to them on Monday, April 12th. I gave my new address in the notice of termination. Then my ex came and gave me a letter from the one that was still addressed to my old address, dated April 15th. Dated is where it says I should transfer the money that I had back to them. There's also a problem: I lost the subscription slip when I moved, i.e. The first letter. I don't know now whether their letter and my resignation exceeded each other or whether they ignored it again. What should I do now? Numbers? If they leave me alone after that, OK. But that's the last time.
My next idea would be to write the resignation again with a person who can also confirm that I wrote it and make a copy of it. Is it also possible that I call the post office and they provide information that the letter has actually been received by them in the mailbox?
What can I do?
I wouldn't pay anything there. And always have the money booked back.
If there's no other way, get a lawyer.
But a lawyer only costs money and stress 😕
I think I'll write it again with a person and then tell the post that they should confirm that it has been sent.
But I still have the hope that that has exceeded itself
You do something like that by registered mail. And then they laugh at your letter. And keep making fun.
I wrote them a cancellation via subscription alarm 2 months ago and they still debited the money from me.
That doesn't mean anything. The termination must also be form and time-bound. If the notice period is 3 months to the end of the contract, then the notice of termination is legal, but it may not take effect until the next year. In this respect, you must first check which notice period actually applies here, and then at what point in time your termination can take effect at the earliest.
I gave my first notice within 14 days, but they didn't respond at all. They should have at least commented on it. But they didn't do it. Can't be that if I quit those who completely ignore it. I didn't even get a letter saying that I still have to pay until xy. Or that they confirm the termination and the contract expires by xx
And I ended the contract immediately. The letter said that it would start in April. I wrote my resignation in February. That means they should have accepted them and then left me alone
Didn't have that via registered
😕😕
You can cancel in the first 14 days. But then you have to write that too. A termination is different. You have to take care of the deadlines.
And not every contract concluded in distance selling can be revoked (but should probably apply here). That is also often overlooked.
I gave my first notice within 14 days, but they didn't respond at all.
Logical, you also made a huge mistake:
You would not have had to cancel within 14 days, you would have had to revoke it.
And in the event of termination, a contract continues until it is terminated.
