I need a drawing program, preferably free, with which I can create the A0 format. I tried Krita but it is too slow for my laptop. Does anyone know something good?

A0 are a lot of points depending on the DPI number used. There can be speed with every graphics program. Above all, you will then probably need a lot of RAM, otherwise it has to be swapped out to the hard drive and that makes it slower.
You can try GIMP, but it will probably be slow with all graphics programs with this image size.
