Create your own game on PC or mobile phone (free)?

I would like to create my own game on my laptop or cell phone. But I don't know which program I can use for it. Has a program that is free where you can create games.

What I want to create for a game:

I want to create my own WarriorCats game. Where you have your own character and then there's a story.

Can you program at all?

Maybe RPG Maker?

I would recommend Unity to you.
To do this, you need to be able to program something.

If you can't do that yet, there are many great courses on Udemy that teach you programming and game development with Unity at the same time.
But the tutorials on the Unity website itself are also pretty good.
