I have a problem with my Wi-Fi. I have a Vadafone Cable & Phone 100 line. However, the Wi-Fi on my phone is very slow. Instead of 100Mbit / s, I have 0.5Mbit / s (Ookla speed test, 3 meters from the router). But on all other devices (other cell phones, laptops, PC) the WLAN runs very quickly with over 90Mbit / s. My father has exactly the same cell phone as me, i.e. A20e and he also has an average of 1Mbit / s. I went to a friend's place and did a Wi-Fi test, and the Wi-Fi was normal and fast. The only problem is with my Wi-Fi. I reset the network settings but this didn't help. Thank you for the help.
Router: Vodafone Station
Cable & Phone 100
It is possible that the mobile phone is disturbed by another WLAN device, DECT telephone, plug-in power supply unit or similar in the immediate vicinity.
In addition, try a different fixed channel in your router, preferably 1, 6 or 9.
Furthermore, remove your network connection on your mobile phone and add it again. For this you need to have your password ready.
Many thanks for the answer.
Regarding the first point: The WLAN used to work normally, the WLAN has only been slower for a week. We did not buy a new WLAN-enabled device or any other device.
Regarding the second point: I don't know very much about technology and I don't understand what to do now. Could you briefly explain
Regarding the third point: I've already tried it, but it didn't help.
The disturbances can come from outside. If you open the web interface of the router via a browser, you can set various parameters there. Among other things, you can switch the WLAN channel from automatically to a fixed channel.
How to register is in the manual of the router. In principle, you have to enter the IP address of the router in the browser and then the user name for and the associated device password. If nothing has been changed, the necessary information can be found on a sticker or something similar on the respective router.
