New laptop, Wi-Fi extremely slow, what could be the problem?

I have had the Acer Swift 3 for a few weeks. I'm satisfied so far, but unfortunately the WLAN is very slow and I'm at the end of my game.

The speed test results in the following: 1.74 Mbit / s download speed and 0.75 Mbit / s upload speed.

When I connect my laptop to the router via LAN cable, the speed test results in a download speed of around 40 Mbit / s and the upload speed was also significantly higher (I can't remember the exact value).

With another laptop, the speed test via WLAN results in a download speed of almost 28 Mbit / s.

I have already uninstalled and reinstalled the WLAN driver on my Acer, so it should be up to date.

When I took my Acer to my parents' house and connected it to the WLAN, the internet worked perfectly, the speed test showed around 40 Mbit / s.

The last time I tried to solve the problem was to change the Wi-Fi channel, which unfortunately did not improve the situation either.

The distance to the router may not be the problem either. Even if I stand right next to the router with my laptop, the speed test gives the same values.

I'm open and grateful for every idea!

If it works normally and well in other networks, it will probably be down to your router or the bandwidth provided.

I've logged into my router. There's a bandwidth of 20/40/80 MHz.
