I have deleted more than 40,000 .files files (which are not real files) from my external hard drive and jz is full of trash every time I plug in the hard drive and I can't work properly with the hard drive because the laptop and hard drive are thus underutilized are. And when I try to empty the trash, everything hangs.
Can I change it again?
Just want to get rid of these files and use my hard drive normally again.
Incidentally, I have Win 10.
Check PC for viruses. Dust the fan and try formatting the disk completely while backing up your data.
You can ignore the trash for now.
By the way, records don't last forever. ^^
