Questions about AKG D7 and accessories?

I'm planning to buy the AKG D7 (link below) microphone and wanted to ask if there might be any problems when I use this cable (link below) to connect the microphone to my laptop.

Hi! Recording via the sound chip of a laptop is basically a matter of luck. Buy a decent audio interface and hang the microphone on it. Greeting

Ra

Ok, I'll just do it with the interface.

That is not very professional!

The AKG D7 is a professional vocal mic, you should definitely connect it to the computer via an external interface, such as the Steinberg your, other combinations with Behringer would come close to a Ferrari with 145 tires.

The AKG P5 is also very good, even if it is much cheaper than the D5 or the C5. Price and size are not always important.

Can you write me all the product names? Gladly also a slightly cheaper mic. My pain threshold is 200 euro…

So preferably everything, including all the cables that I need.

I use the P5, D5 and D7 regularly. The "Unimog", the former "workhorse" from Mercedes, is the P5 for me, although a good interface, such as the Steinberg your, is absolutely necessary in order not to reduce the quality again. For the amazon junk it can also be a Behringer.

Small final question xD: D5 and Steinberg UR12? I found a nice set for the microphone, where I have a tripod (can you call it xD) and the microphone (D5) and a cable with me.

Co

Yes what kind of set, from which company?

I mainly use the very flexible tripods, MIC8 from Music Store. They are robust, but also so cheap that any "loss" doesn't hurt so much.

Have I seen Thomann, I'll send you the link: https://m.thomann.de/de/akg_d_5_bundle.htm?o=0&search=1607864503

What do you need 10m cable for? I use a maximum of 6m on stage myself, but also better quality than the "house brands".

At Music Store you would get around € 94, - with the very flexible, because it is split gallows, with a 3m Cordial (qualitatively acceptable) cable and a D5. If you have to watch out for the penny, you are very well served with the P5 (I use this both on stage and again and again for TV interviews).

Thank you for the award!
